Shiny Monkey’s iconic acorn design draws inspiration from locally sourced nuts in Ontario, carefully selected for their distinctive characteristics. The natural imperfections of the original nut, such as cracks and textures, are preserved in the casting of the original form into crystal, honoring the raw natural beauty. 

Process
Our acorn pendant is crafted using the ancient lost wax process, adapted for both the sterling silver cap and the crystal glass. This method allows us to create an interplay between the sterling silver cap and the crystal glass nut, capturing the essence of organic beauty in a refined, wearable form. The process also imparts a beautiful satin finish, echoing the texture and feel of the original natural elements.
